Every online course page says the same things: expert instructors, updated content, learn anytime anywhere. None of that can be verified before you pay.
Four things can.
1. Does the instructor have a real result
For standardized test prep, the right question is not how many years someone has taught, but what they scored.
Vietdemy's GMAT e-Focus course names its instructor, Lê Nam Anh, with a GMAT score of 730/800. That number is verifiable and meaningful — someone who sat the exam understands time pressure and question traps differently from someone who has only read the textbook.
2. Does the content track the current exam version
This is where older courses quietly fall behind. The GMAT moved to the Focus Edition, structured in three sections: Quantitative, Verbal and Data Insights. A course still teaching the old structure has you practising the wrong thing.
When choosing, ask directly: which version does this follow, and when was it last updated.
3. Can the certificate be verified
A certificate only matters if a third party can check it. Vietdemy's completion certificate is issued automatically once assessment requirements are met, verifiable online, and postable to a professional profile.
If a course only emails you an image file, its value stops at your own confidence — it travels no further in an employer's eyes.
4. Is the library deep enough for the long run
If you take one certificate and stop, any platform will do. If you plan to keep learning over time, library depth starts to matter.
Vietdemy publishes more than 2,000 learners, over 850 content partners and more than 6,000 hours of video, spanning international certificate tracks: GMAT, GRE, TOEIC, TOEFL, PMP, ECBA, HRCI and Data/BA.
A note on pricing
Course prices are listed publicly — GMAT e-Focus Verbal at 4,990,000 VND, Quantitative & Data Insights at 3,990,000 VND, or the Complete course at 7,990,000 VND. Public pricing is the minimum condition for comparison; anywhere that requires your phone number before quoting has already taken that advantage away from you.
